Paul Bush je filmový tvorca, známy najmä vďaka experimentálnej fázovej animácii. Za filmy, ktoré sa objavili na premietacích plátnach festivalov, kín, galérií, ale aj televíznych obrazovkách po celom svete, získal množstvo ocenení. V Spojených štátoch, Kanade, Slovinsku, Poľsku, Maďarsku a Spojenom kráľovstve sa nedávno odvysielali aj retrospektívy, venované jeho filmovej tvorbe. V roku 1981 začal pôsobiť ako pedagóg a založil filmovú dielňu v južnom Londýne. Medzi rokmi 1995 a 2001 tiež vyučoval v odbore výtvarných umení na Goldsmiths College a od roku 2003 na Národnej filmovej a televíznej škole. Bush prednáša, vedie tvorivé dielne a učí v rámci mnohých umeleckých a filmových odborov po celom svete vrátane Univerzity v Lucerne, talianskeho Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia a Kráľovskej akadémie umení. Momentálne vyučuje kurz výtvarného umenia na Harvardovej univerzite.
