Practical Info and Covid-19 measures

HOW TO SURVIVE FEST ANČA 2020 IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC

The pandemic is still not over and we take the situation very seriously. We want you to survive Fest Anča 2020 in health and safety, and at the same time enjoy it to the fullest. Therefore, we ask everyone to read and follow these measures and to take into account the changes that have taken place.

  1. A facemask must be worn at every screening – enter the venue with facemask on and do not remove it during screening.
  2. Hand sanitisers are provided. In case they are missing, do not hesitate to report it to one of the organizers or volunteers, and we will take care of  the situation immediately.
  3. Be considerate and follow all the regulations of the public health office, which are posted on posters at the festival premises, they serve all of us.
  4. In case you feel unwell, have a cold or are sick, stay home.
  5. Large events must still follow on-going pandemic measures and the capacity in the venues is limited. That’s why we have added more reruns to screenings to ensure you get the full festival experience. Come on Thursday to get the maximum benefit!
  6. People with festival passes will be prioritized at the screenings and events. We recommend buying a presale pass now. Single admission tickets can be only bought 10 minutes before each screening, but only if festival pass owners do not reach the venue’s capacity first. Therefore we also ask visitors with a festival pass to enter the venues 10 minutes before the start.
  7. To monitor the number of people, there will be only one entrance to each venue. In the case of the New Synagogue building, it will be the entrance from Kuzmányho Street. Entry to the Žilina-Záriečie Station will be possible only through the main front entrance.
  8. Due to social distancing measures, the festival campsite also has limited capacity of 70 people – so book your place fast.
  9. Children must have tickets to all screenings – because we need to carefully monitor the number of attendees.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

COVID-19 RISK COUNTRIES

Check if the country you arrive from is on the list of low risk countries. In case it is not on the list, it poses a risk for Covid-19 and it is mandatory you undergo a test up to 5 days after your arrival and stay in a self isolation until the test comes out negative. That would mean arriving to Slovakia a couple of days prior to the festival. Please reconsider whether this is what you are willing to do in order to attend Fest Anča and bear in mind safety comes first.
