The six-minute movie Yellow is total animation, meaning that each of its 2 880 frames is composed as a separate and unique painting. The animation is based on line drafts that combine hand drawn and cut-out animation techniques. Subsequently, individual frames were printed on paper and coloured one by one. The exhibition comprises these coloured ordered frames to create one motion, which demonstrates the hard work behind animation.
