What is the admission price for adults accompanying a child under 12?
An adult accompanying a child receive a discounted admission price for both short and feature films, depending on the venue:

Information about the Festival Campsite:
The Festival Campsite is located at the Stanica Žilina-Záriečie Cultural Centre. There are showers and toilets. The campsite will be guarded 24 hours a day from Tuesday, June 30, through Sunday, July 5, until 12:00 p.m. (noon). You must bring your own tent.
Tickets for the Festival Campsite must be picked up at the accreditation centre in the New Synagogue.

The main venue of the festival is the Stanica Žilina-Záriečie Cultural Centre at Závodská cesta 3 in Žilina.
The Student Forum takes place in the New Synagogue at J. M. Hurbana 220 in Žilina and at the University of Žilina at Univerzitná 8215, 010 26 Žilina.
Another screening venue is the Žilina Town Theatre, located at 3, Horný Val 1, Žilina.
You can watch feature animated films at Sterio Kino Žilina, in the Mirage Shopping Centre at Námestie Andreja Hlinku 1070/7, Žilina.

Many animated films do not have dialogue. The children’s sections and the International Music Video Competition are completely without dialogue. For the benefit of our international guests, films with dialogue are screened with English subtitles. We provide Slovak subtitles for feature films, documentaries, and the most popular short film sections (the International Competition, Short Film from around the World, and Anička in Wonderland), and this year we are also subtitling the Mordor section and the new section, Don’t Look Away. You can enjoy the Slovak Film Competition in the original Slovak or Czech language.
Visitors can purchase a Cinepass together with a place in the festival campsite, which is located at Stanica Žilina-Záriečie Cultural Centre and opens on Tuesday, June 30 2026, at 12:00 p.m. There are showers and toilets. The campsite is guarded 24 hours a day from Tuesday until the end of the festival. You must bring your own tent.

At the station, you will find a foodtruck with sweet and sour crepes and a bar full of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. We also highly recommend the festival café located in the New Synagogue.

The festival is easily accessible by train.
If you are travelling by car, please check the parking options at your accommodation, as street parking is paid throughout almost the entire town of Žilina.
There is no parking available directly at the Žilina-Záriečie Station.
The nearest parking is at Parkovanie Rondel Offices, which is free on weekdays from 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. On weekends, it is free from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Accredited festival guests and Cinepass holders are entitled to free public transport in Žilina during the festival. No ticket is required when travelling on city transport services. In the event of a ticket inspection, simply present your festival wristband.
