All reports are treated confidentially unless due to the nature of the concern, there is a statutory duty to report the concern elsewhere.

The 17th edition of the Fest Anča International Animation Festival 2024 takes place from 25 to 30 June 2024.

Fest Anča is committed to providing a supportive and harassment-free experience to registrants of all genders, races, sexual orientations, ages, ethnicity, physical orientations, and religions. As such, Fest Anča does not tolerate any threatening, discriminatory, or disrespectful behavior. 

This may include but is not limited to: physical or verbal abuse or misconduct; not respecting people’s personal space; sexual harassment, including sexual abuse or unwanted sexual attention; violations of the law; stalking or bullying; inappropriate disruptions at official Festival events; and any other targeted or derogatory language, gestures, or actions that cause offense to another registrant including staff, performers, volunteers, attendees and participants.

In this spirit, we are not only preparing our festival, but we invite our visitors to create a community with us based on these principles. At Fest Anča, we believe strongly in the principles of community care. Be aware of your surroundings, be kind to yourself, and make sure the people around you are safe. Thank you for helping us make this a safe and welcoming event.

Fest Anča reserves the right, in its sole judgment, to take action against any individual(s) or group(s) it deems to be non-compliant with the requirements of this CODE OF CONDUCT, including, but not limited to, revocation of tickets and festival privileges and exclusion from the event without notice or refund.

KÁČKO

In Káčko, professionally trained psychologists of the civic association IPčko provide crisis intervention and help in critical life situations. Psychological help in Káčko is free of charge, works for a short period of time and is fully anonymous. It does not replace psychotherapy or other medical care. Definitions of Safeguarding Terms

Bullying: offensive, intimidating, malicious or insulting behavior which amounts to or involves an abuse or misuse of power.

Harassment: unwanted conduct related to age, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, race, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, partnership status, pregnancy or parental status, disability, health or any other analogous personal status which has the purpose or effect of violating an individual’s dignity or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for that individual.

Sexual harassment: unwelcome conduct of sexual nature the purpose of which is to make a person feel offended, humiliated or intimidated or to create a hostile, intimidating or humiliating environment for the recipient or another person or persons, or which is reasonably taken by a person or persons to have that effect. Sexual harassment will also occur where a person is asked to engage in sexual activity or other conduct of a sexual nature as a condition of employment or advancement at work, or to avoid any work-related detriment. Sexual harassment includes verbal and non-verbal conduct including physical and sexual assault.

Abuse: all forms of physical and emotional ill-treatment, sexual abuse or commercial or other exploitation resulting in actual or potential harm to health, survival, development or dignity which arises within a relationship of responsibility, trust or power.

Sexual exploitation: actual or attempted abuse of a position of vulnerability, differential power, or trust, for sexual purposes, including, but not limited to, profiting monetarily, socially or politically from the exploitation of another. This definition includes human trafficking and modern slavery.

Sexual abuse: actual or threatened physical intrusion of a sexual nature, whether by force or under unequal or coercive conditions.
